MCTC opens HND Diploma in Art and Design (Digital Design) in June


MCTC has opened Batch 1 for HND Diploma in Art and Design (Digital Design) starting from June, 2019. This Diploma is an official Diploma awarded direct from UK. For achieving the Diploma, the students have to attend for two academic years at Myanmar Creative Technology College in Myanmar.


HND Diploma in Art and Design (Digital Design) is equivalent to UK college Year 1 and Year 2 and students will get 240 CATS (Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme) points after completing this course.


Students who have successfully completed the HND programme will be eligible to apply for entry to the Honours Degree Programmes at many UK and other international universities. MCTC is working to establish Year 3 and Year 4 UK Degree pathways in Yangon Myanmar. The estimated time is around the time 1st Batch of HND Diploma completed.


Experienced industry top lecturers will teach the Art and Design subjects systematically through international courses. In this course, Year 1: Level 4 Diploma in Digital Art and Design (L4DDD) includes 8 subjects and Year 2: Level 5 Diploma in Digital Art and Design (L5DDD) includes 6 subjects. Each college year is divided into 4 semesters.


In the case of entry requirement, learner must be of 16 years or older to be eligible for the programme. Students will have options to join art and designing based internship after diploma course at partner companies of MCTC.


The pathways of this qualification are intended to provide students with opportunities to explore the creative industries through a focused curriculum that prepares them for further degree-level studies or working in the industry.
